SKINCARE ENTHUSIAST / SOCIAL MEDIA

Seed to Skin is a rapidly expanding natural skincare luxury brand. Produced in our in-house state of the art lab at the Borgo Santo Pietro estate in Tuscany, Seed to Skin is a unique skincare range expertly formulated by combining natural ingredients with advanced molecular science to harness the true power of nature.

To assist our rapidly growing company we are seeking a native English speaking full-on devoted social media specialist with a flair for natural skincare to work with us at our company head offices in Florence.

The ideal candidate is a professional, passionate about natural skin care, addicted to all things social media and will know the latest trends, the top tech, and the most effective ways to engage with new audiences & gain traction in the skincare industry. Enthusiastic, resourceful and supportive with a strong work ethic and self-starting attitude, they will work closely with the editor to help create engaging content for Seed to Skin’s social media presence.

Your duties will include:

  • Maintaining social media channels updated and brand-focused, and seeking out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with audiences.
  • Supporting management of the company’s different social media channels, primarily Instagram but also Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms
  • Building lists on social networks relevant to strategic objectives
  • Supporting creation of dynamic written, graphic, and video content and helping to maintain and update photographic database
  • Analysing and reporting audience information and demographics and success of existing social media projects
  • Proposing new ideas and concepts for social media content that promote audience interaction / participation and increase audience presence on company site, coordinating editorial / event calendar to plan posts reactively
  • Use timelines and scheduled content to support creation of a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction whilst analysing, managing, and altering schedules where necessary to optimize visits

 

Required Social Media Skills and Qualifications:

Marketing or social media marketing Degree preferred. Story teller, technology skills, content writing, image aware, campaign execution, self-starter, strong communication skills, networking, idea presentation, SEO and PPC, proofreading, enthusiastic, carrier driven, detail-oriented, collaborative, hard working.

An able photographer capable of taking shots which capture the mood and feeling of the moment in order to create engaging and captivating posts is a bonus!

SPA & MASSAGE THERAPIST

We are seeking an experienced SPA&MASSAGE THERAPIST with an innate sensitivity to understand and work with the demands of international high-end discerning clients. The perfect candidate is able to perform SPA treatments and body massages, previous experience in 4 or 5 stars hotel's SPA, posses a general understanding of body treatments and be willing to train in our spa’s specific massage, body treatments and standards offerings. The ideal candidate must possess excellent communication skills, fluency in English, be able to learn the product and service knowledge necessary to effectively provide wellness solutions to meet the needs of our guests. We are looking for a dynamic and creative Sous Chef with solid experience working in an upscale Michelin Star level restaurants, ready to embrace this opportunity in the heart of Tuscany for our innovative “farm-to-plate concept” Michelin starred restaurant Meo Modo. The ideal candidate will be a Michelin Star/fine dining level chef with a good maturity level and solid expertise in leading high quality operations. He/she presents strong leadership, training and organisational skills with the ability to work under pressure and overcome all challenges expected from a high profile restaurant. He/she is innovative and ambitious, proactively researches, develops and implements original food ideas/concepts using extraordinary high quality ingredients produced directly within Borgo Santo Pietro Estate. EXCITING OPPORTUNITY FOR AN EXPERIENCED MAITRE TO JOIN ONE OF OUR RESTAURANTS IN THE HEART OF TUSCANY.

We are looking for a dedicated and passionate Maitre to also act as Assistant Restaurant Manager ready to embrace this opportunity in the heart of Tuscany for our in-house traditional Tuscan Trattoria. The role primary responsibility is to assist the Restaurant Manager in overseeing the smooth operation of the restaurant and maintain high levels of service and excellence in customer service, overseeing day-to-day operations from room service to private events, supervise set-ups, breakdowns, staffing levels and quality of service, ensure that all tasks are well organized and that the expectations of host are exceeded. HEAD GARDENER

Located in the heart of Tuscany, Borgo Santo Pietro is a five-star, 200-acre boutique hotel and estate with a 'farm to plate' philosophy. It features 13 acres of gardens as well as a working farm, artisan cheese dairy and vineyards, and produces organic vegetables for its two Michelin-starred restaurants.

Role requirements

As Head Gardener you will be responsible for managing the gardening team. Extensive plant and landscaping knowledge is essential, as well as a good understanding of organic methods and sustainable horticultural techniques. The role requires excellent attention to detail, a good eye, and dedication to maintaining five-star standards. This is a very hands-on role, so expect to get your hands dirty! You will need to be able to collaborate effectively with farm and garden staff, multi-task, and take responsibility for unexpected situations when they arise. 

About you

We are looking for a confident, committed and hands-on candidate with excellent communication skills. Our gardens are an intrinsic part of the estate, and as Head Gardener you will be the public face of the gardens and often present the estate to guests. You need to be highly organised and physically fit, fluent in English and ideally possess good Italian skills. Italian lessons will be provided as part of your role if necessary.

  • Landscaping;
  • Pest and disease management;
  • Maintenance of systems, such as pumps and irrigation, swimming pools;
  • Supervising the care and maintenance of 13 acres of gardens and landscaped grounds.

CULINARY GARDENER FOR ORGANIC FARM IN TUSCANY

We are looking for an experienced Culinary Gardener to be responsible for keeping the grounds running at full production, 12 months out of the year, and managing close relationships with each chef at our three restaurants to determine desired and create an annual crop plan, ensure produce is grown, harvested, and stored for excellent taste and high-quality product following naturally grown and organic production guidelines. The ideal candidate must be efficient, self-motivated, and highly organized. Must be capable of and experienced in crop planning, greenhouse management, seeding, in edible flowers, raising transplants, planting, cultivation, fertilizing, weeding, irrigation, harvesting and post-harvest processing. Keeping the farm looking tidy, attractive and inviting for farm venue events and tours is of high importance.

Compensation: Salary is commensurate with experience and/or living accommodations.

Experience working on a diversified vegetable farm with minimum of 5 years of farm management required. PASTRY CHEF

Located in the heart of Tuscany, Relais Borgo Santo Pietro is a five-star, 220-acre boutique hotel estate with an holistic spa, a gourmet Michelin star restaurant, a traditional trattoria and an organic farm. We are currently recruiting a passionate and experienced Pastry Chef to join the brigade of our gourmet Michelin star restaurant in central Italy.

The ideal Pastry Chef will have a minimum of 2 years Hospitality and Catering industry experience, preferably in a luxury 5 star hotel or similar and will be in charge to prepare the full pastry line for both our restaurants within the resort. A positive working attitude and enthusiastic approach to teamwork, flexible to work shifts as required, be passionate about pastry and chocolate. This is a seasonal full time position, salary negotiable to experience + full lodging and meals included – staff house is located just two minutes walking distance from the resort.
