Farmer’s market
Every Wednesday night Borgo Santo Pietro hosts our Local Farmer’s Market at Trattoria Sull’Albero. The aroma of homely freshly baked breads or smoky wood burning grilled foods bids you to Sull’Albero where a feast of vibrant colours awaits at a banquet of freshly picked vegetables, artisanal cheeses, grilled foods, in-house prosciutto, fresh fish and zero-kilometer meat. You are invited to pick and choose from the beautiful array of foods and your preferred fish and meats will be grilled before your eyes. With such fresh produce from the land, our aim is to have the flavours of the products speak for themselves. With live music to entertain you, we hope that the lively and relaxed setting of the evening will allow you another unique experience at Borgo Santo Pietro.
The romantic grotto
An enchanting candle-lit table will await you in the grotto area bordering the infinity pool, the sound of the fountain offering background music. Your own exclusive waiter will be there to provide for your every whim, so you are allowed to truly soak in the beauty of the Borgo Santo Pietro setting, unruffled by other diners. Relaxation takes all forms here at Borgo Santo Pietro. Turn a sight-seeing day into a gourmet picnic event with one of our seasonal picnic hampers, or choose a private spot to relax within the grounds and we’ll spread out a blanket and provide you with everything you need to enjoy the season’s fresh gourmet harvest al fresco, surrounded by 13 blissful acres of gardens. Those who would like to experience the true Tuscan countryside can also pick a spot by the River Merse or stretch out on the sunny slopes of the estate looking over vineyards back towards Borgo.
