In August 2018, the Evening Standard published a special feature on Borgo Santo Pietro. Author Cathy Hawker described our 5-star luxury hotel in the Tuscan countryside as a heart-skipping beauty and wrote “What began as Claus and Jeanette Thottrup’s Tuscan retreat grew into a luxury estate hotel filled with herb and flower gardens, delicious food and inspired interiors”.

Borgo Santo Pietro’s founder and owner Jeanette Thottrup was quoted in the following excerpt: “Borgo is a home from home with no stiffness. Fountains flow, peacocks and ducks wander and the herb, flower and fruit and veg gardens offer peace. It is nature at its purest.”

The Evening Standard‘s article also mentioned the Thottrups’ latest business, Seed to Skin, an all-natural skincare range launched in the spring and available exclusively at Liberty. Cathy Hawker described the skincare line as luxurious and carrying a long-lingering sensory experience in its wake.
