PUBLIC RELATIONS COORDINATOR

Based in Florence, the Borgo Santo Pietro Group is a constant and rapidly expanding company which includes an award-winning, five-star boutique hotel on a working estate; two Michelin-starred restaurants; a natural skincare line and spa; a farm-to-plate cookery school; a luxury property development company and a luxury sailing yacht.

 

We are seeking an ambitious and driven English-mother tongue PR coordinator with an interest in the luxury lifestyle experience, travel, food and wellbeing industries to help create and implement communication strategies, activities and PR campaigns across traditional media and digital channels for the Borgo Santo Pietro Group.

 

Key tasks:

 

-            Build and implement sales strategies;

-            Drive brand awareness;

-            Write and divulge press releases;

-            Facilitate press trips and host media visits as required;

-            Organise media events, press conferences and exhibitions;

-            Liaise with external PR agencies and journalists;

-            Support marketing team as required;

-            Copy writer skills

 

Our ideal candidate is passionate and carrier driven while having their finger on the pulse of consumer trends, an extensive knowledge of the sector and a consolidated experience in company branding.

Other requirements

2 years’ experience inhouse or agency

Good organizer and time management

Able to multitask

Happy to run the extra mile

English mother tongue (mandatory) and good knowledge of Italian

Driving licence

 

This is a full-time position based in Tuscany, Italy – however travelling may be required to support the brand internationally Salary will depend on experience.

GRAPHIC DESIGNER / SOCIAL MEDIA MANAGER

Based in Florence, the Borgo Santo Pietro Group is a constant and rapidly expanding company which includes an award-winning, five-star boutique hotel on a working estate; two Michelin-starred restaurants; a spa and natural skincare line; a farm-to-plate cookery school; a luxury property development company and a luxury sailing yacht.


To assist in this fast paced and vibrant environment the group is seeking a full-time English-mother tongue editorial/social media specialist with graphic skills (or Graphic Designer with Editorial/Social Media skills) who will be based in the company’s head offices in Florence.


The ideal candidate will be passionate about all things social media and will know the latest trends, the top tech, and the most effective ways to engage with new audiences & gain traction. Enthusiastic, resourceful and supportive with a strong work ethic and self-starting attitude, they will work closely with the editor to help create engaging content for Borgo Santo Pietro’s social media presence, including keeping social media channels updated and brand-focused, and seeking out new social media avenues and ways of connecting with audiences.

This role will also closely work with our concept and design department in the creation of artwork for all our Borgo Santo Pietro Group brands and related websites, social media channels etc. Our ideal candidate has a background in the luxury lifestyle industry and is an enthusiastic and dedicated graphic designer with a creative flair, a superb eye for detail, carrier driven and image conscious as well as self-starting and able to work outside the box.


Your duties will include:

  • Supporting management of the companies 6 different social media channels, primarily Instagram but also Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn and other relevant platforms
  • Building lists on social networks relevant to strategic objectives
  • Supporting creation of dynamic written, graphic, and video content and helping to maintain and update photographic database
  • Analysing and reporting audience information and demographics and success of existing social media projects
  • Proposing new ideas and concepts for social media content that promote audience interaction / participation and increase audience presence on company sites, coordinating editorial / event calendar to plan posts reactively
  • Use timelines and scheduled content to support creation of a consistent stream of new content for audience interaction whilst analysing, managing, and altering schedules where necessary to optimize visits

 

Required Skills and Qualifications:
Marketing or social media marketing Degree preferred, story teller, technology skills, content writing, image aware, campaign execution, self-starter, strong communication skills, networking, idea presentation, SEO and PPC, proofreading, enthusiasm, carrier driven, detail-oriented, collaboration, hard working.

An able photographer capable of taking shots which capture the mood and feeling of the moment in order to create engaging and captivating posts is a bonus!

Driving licence is mandatory
